"The Croods" (Movie Critique) #Spoilers #II (II-Irrelevant Information)
Animation at its best?
Yes indeed. the animation in this movie is beautiful, but it kind of reminds me of Avatar in a way.
This movie tells the story of the Croods family living in the stone age, their sole occupation is to get food and not getting killed. The father is voiced by Nicolas Cage (#II- my entire family adores him, we worship his receding hair line - not really, but of course there is the theory that says - the quality of his movies is according to the hair line he has in it, meaning the most receding his hair line will be, the better the movie is), the daughter is voiced by Emma Stone, which is wonderful and the rest of the family is voiced by other people. Also Ryan Reynolds voice Emma Stone's love interest, he is o.k. too.
The most important thing about this movie for me was the feeling I got after and during the watch, it is really an enjoyable film with beautiful animation and I kind of felt like I'm watching old animation movies like Aladdin and The Lion king.
Information about the film:
Name: "The Croods"
Directors: Kirk De Micco and Chris Sanders (#II- no wonder I got the feeling of the lion king, Chris Sanders wrote the story for that movie).
Cast: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0481499/fullcredits?ref_=tt_ov_st_sm#cast
Rating: 9/10. Really enjoyable movie with beautiful animation, if you are not interested in those sort of movies - WHY?! Go watch it!!!
